These terms apply when you use bitcoinparadigm.io, book.bitcoinparadigm.io, our community portal, or any education, book, session or service from Bitcoin Paradigm ("we", "us"). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

1. Who we are

Bitcoin Paradigm is an Australian Bitcoin education and self-custody guidance business. ABN 43 493 735 691.

2. Education only, not financial advice

  • Everything we provide (the website, the book, videos, the podcast, community posts, calls and 1:1 sessions) is general information for educational purposes only.
  • It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not financial, tax or legal advice.
  • Bitcoin is volatile and you could lose some or all of your money.
  • Before acting on any information, consider whether it is appropriate for you and seek advice from a suitably licensed professional.
  • We do not promise any tax outcome, investment return or result.

3. What we are not

Bitcoin Paradigm is not an exchange, a fund, a trading service, a custodian or a financial adviser. We do not buy, sell, exchange, transfer or hold bitcoin or any other asset for you.

4. We never ask for or hold your seed phrase, keys or funds

  • We will never ask for, see or hold your seed phrase (recovery words), private keys, PINs or wallet passwords.
  • Never show your seed phrase on camera, read it aloud, type it into a chat or email, or share it with us or anyone else.
  • We never hold your bitcoin and never ask you to send bitcoin to us.
  • If anyone claiming to be us asks for your seed phrase, keys, or a transfer of bitcoin, it is a scam. Stop and contact us through the details on our Contact page.

5. Your responsibilities

  • You keep full control of your bitcoin, devices, keys and backups, and you are responsible for keeping them safe.
  • You make your own decisions about buying, holding, moving or selling bitcoin.
  • You are responsible for checking that any setup suits your circumstances, and for getting your own financial, tax or legal advice where needed.

6. Third-party products and services

Our education may refer to third-party hardware, software, exchanges or services. We don't own or control them, and their own terms apply. We are not responsible for their availability, security, fees or performance.

7. Intellectual property

The content on our websites, in the book, videos, podcast, presentations, documents and community is owned by us or used with permission. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, resell, republish or share it (including paid materials and logins) without our written permission.

8. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with its effective date.
